Review on 📂 Sauder Edge Water Lateral File in Chalked Chestnut Finish: Organize with Style! by Heather Ward

This filing cabinet looks really good and that's where the positives of this unit end. The rods that hold the binders are not fully fixed, so the binders simply fall off the rods. So I figured I could just use it as a series of boxes. Not correct. The bottom of the box is made of plywood about 1/8 inch thick that fits into slots in the bottom of the box. I put some books on the floor and it fell out. This happened to both boxes. We took out the bottom drawer to fix it and the inner track that the drawer slides on broke loose from the outer track that bolts to the side of the unit and all the tiny ball bearings fell out. I bought this unit because I liked the look and the reviews said it was nice and durable. The frame of the device is actually pretty solid. But strength alone does not make a device ideal. If you're looking for a good solid filing cabinet that does a really good job of storing your files I would suggest looking elsewhere as this unit just made me sad.
