I also glued the pipes instead of threading them. To install in pipes, remove the nozzle tip with pliers, remove the sleeve from the alligator clip, insert the sleeve into the pipe, and then insert the alligator clip until it reaches the bottom. No need to glue, the friction fit is very tight. I then added heat shrink tubing to the teeth of the terminals to further protect the wires that need to be soldered.
