may appear like a completely different product depending on the brush, suitable for warm skin tones

This product is pressed very tightly so it is difficult to pick up too much product. The brush you use really matters. When I first got it I used it with a Sonia Kashuk Angled Cheek Brush (with what I suspect horsehair) and despite coarser hair it didn't pick up well and got eaten away by the bristles. It would hardly have painted my face, but I suppose you could argue that it was very easy to build. A few weeks later I used it with the Koyudo Yoshiki (Saikoho) Angled Blush Brush and was shocked to learn that I have to use a lot less product and it's a lot easier to use. Now I use this product every day, it's such a quick and easy daily tint that's hard to screw up! The tone of this product is a bit warmer compared to Kevyn Aucoin's The Sculpting Contour Powder, so it doesn't look gray on my face and is probably much better suited to yellowish skin tones, while Kevyn Aucoin's product is more geared towards calm ashy people -have cool outline or more pink/blue skin tones.

Pros
  • wide range
Cons
  • too dull
