I had my doubts about this stand's ability to hold the iPad Pro 12.9" while you use it, type, swipe etc, but it does the job perfect.The box is well finished, so even with rough handling I think the device will be delivered undamaged.Mine arrived in perfect condition.In addition, the packaging is 99% cardboard and therefore recyclable.But you only have to screw one screw insert and tighten the wrench they provide.I bought the black block and the finish is good.As I have a window behind my desk where I use the product I'm glad they did the matte coating on the base have used as this eliminates any glare I would experience with a glossy base.The device automatically maintains the height you set and through inner e friction. You don't have to push, pull, click, or do anything else to change the height of your device. Simply hold the base with one hand and the pole holding the device with the other hand to push them together to lower the device or spread them apart to raise the device. Wherever you go, it will stay there. I am very pleased with the packaging, build, finish and performance of this tablet stand.
