Excellent smooth shifting. I swapped my entire drive train for the latest Claris groupset and the wheels for Dropps. My bike came with a very strange combination in the OEM drivetrain. I went with the 11-28t cassette and it suits my riding segments perfectly. For the price of the components, I can play around with different cassettes on my 34.50t crankset before deciding to build a mid-range road bike next year. Update: The roads I use are littered with hills between 4% and 10%. I recently switched to 11-32 to combat them. Shifting is just as smooth and the 11-28 looks like new. I only use 32 in emergencies. Excellent budget devices.
