The rubber boot does not look like the factory boot. The round part that secures with the snap ring is not as rigid as the factory part and after my first ride I noticed that the boot was leaking CV grease into the part of the snap ring where there was a gap after installation. . The factory boot has a very hard seal where a snap ring keeps it in place. This MTC boot is not made like a factory boot. I'll have to take it apart again, clean the CV lube around the retaining ring area where the gap is and use an RTV to hopefully plug that area against leaks. **FOLLOW-UP** Less than 12 months later and only one ride in this boot, the rubber has deteriorated to the point where it has torn in the pinch area and the rest of the boot is just waiting in the wings. This is junk product so don't waste your time and money!
