I have waited to review these tools, as I do with all types of tools, until I have used them enough to be able to give an accurate review. However, I think this is a really good set of silicone tip pliers. They are easy to clean, lock and unlock, the sizes match perfectly and the construction is strong yet lightweight. As for the silicone tipped tongs I needed for ceramic pans, this is the best I've found (especially for the price). However, like all silicone tongs, they don't give you enough grip on whatever you're picking up - so you have to slide one side under the item like a spatula and use the other side to squeeze and secure it. When trying to lift fragile items like pot stickers from the sides, you have to work so hard to keep them in place that you end up crushing them. But as I mentioned, this is true of every silicone tipped pliers I've had - you just learn how to use them differently than metal pliers. I would highly recommend this set as a starter set and wish the company would also offer them individually so I can get another one from the small to medium sizes.
