I figured why not give it a try for the price? Took less than a month to rip at the seams on BOTH sides. My quarter horse loves to turn around every once in a while, but for a 1200D blanket, the thing tears like an old tarp that's been exposed to the wind and rain for years. Just ordered Weatherbetta, should have done it from the start.
