I use this cooler as an external replacement for the transmission cooler on my 1977 Ford Bronco. I found it easy to install and works pretty well with my truck. It doesn't cool my transmission enough on long freeway drives, but it works great for me when I'm jogging back and forth to work and cruising around town in different ways. When driving it for long distances or a few rides with short rests, it can't keep the transmission as cool as I'd like unless I'm cruising at slower speeds, 55 mph or less. I plan to add an extra cooler to help it out on longer rides. This will probably fit my Bronco except I'm running a transmission built for slower speeds where we were all going at 55mph and I'm running big tires that put a lot of strain on the system at 70mph. While this cooler doesn't always work for me, I give it 5 stars for what it does. Also, this is the second one I've bought. The first was destroyed when I broke the drive shaft (I installed it under the truck, next to the gearbox). This one didn't have a thermostat when I got it; I contacted Derale via email and they quickly sent me the missing part, great customer service.
