What did I pay for? The product is a complete failure.

I myself did not buy this lens and will not buy it after I really tried it. This is a nightmare . In terms of the range of focal lengths, this lens is very well suited for travel, I took one lens and that's it (I myself use a tamron 28-300 with a stub). But this is a theory. In practice, the lens is very heavy and overall, when fastened on the entire initial line of DSLRs, it looks ridiculous, and holding it in your hands is even funnier, the lens is three times heavier than the carcass (but this is not the main thing). The dimensions of the lens and weight suggest a slight melancholy, there can be no talk of any use on trips. The most interesting thing is that it has a rather flimsy ultrasonic motor. The picture quality is average, it does not differ fundamentally from my tamron. It can be used as a portrait portrait if everything is lined up correctly. Frankly, I was very disappointed, because I was thinking about buying this glass. Perhaps I didn’t get the best copy in the picture, but it’s very dreary in terms of weight and dimensions. I will watch something else. The only application I see is only as a reportage lens.

Pros
  • Covered a wide range of focal lengths. Dust and moisture protection. The stub works well.
Cons
  • THE WEIGHT! Price, color . Aperture. Sometimes it focuses strangely (maybe this instance is like that .). In general, it seems that the mechanics work with some anguish (compared to 70-200 f4 is)
