The first thing I did when this vacuum tester arrived was a 30 second test to make sure it held a vacuum. And he survived (both with and without a cup). I think it cost €23. If it didn't hold up in the vacuum I would return it immediately (and Revain makes it very easy to return defective products). On the other hand, the tester does not fit on the packaging! They hide it pretty well in product photos, but even they show a poor fit. Also, the vacuum doesn't seem to increase with each pump, requiring more pumping than expected. I wavered between 3 and 4 stars and chose 4 since it was only $23 and could hold a vacuum.
