Review on ALEADER Womens Cold Weather Winter Boots, Waterproof Snow Boots by Rachel Cook

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice, BUT found better

I’ve been searching for winter boots below $100 and ordered a few to compare. I wanted a tall boot, waterproof, not too bulky and comfortable of course. These fit the ticket except were not as comfortable as another pair I found. The fit is off. I wear size 8 or 8.5. 8.5 in these was too short! I had to reorder in size 9 which fit ok. The back of the boot where the Achilles’ tendon is was a bit funny, meaning I could feel the boot digging a tiny bit. It would probably resolve with wear. I was going to keep these, but then the last boot on my list came and I ended up liking it better. It’s ArcticShield Women's Stacy boot. They are very similar, but seem a bit better quality and fit ( I also got size 9 so think about sizing up in these or similar boots). I recommend comparing the two. Price was the same. Good luck!

Pros
  • Very attractive boots! Perfect fit, not overly bulky or heavy!
Cons
  • The boots have a strong chemical smell that may linger for a while
