This works well and is recommended for those on a tight budget. Be aware, however, that it heats up, and pretty quickly! Unfortunately, the aluminum case doesn't have any screws to remove the case, which would be VERY useful for heat dissipation. Otherwise, the case simply acts as a furnace for the innards of this device. In addition, the quality of the camera is fantastic and intuitive to use even for beginners. I use mine with a MacBook Pro running OBS software.
