Review on 🔥 Hot Max 23056 32 Inch Electrodes: High-Performance Welding Consumables by David Stewart

I'm not very happy with these wands. Difficult to lighten and extremely difficult to retrieve - worse than any other rod I have used before. The slag is the most annoying part. It really does look like dried, caked dirt and it's hard to tear yourself away from it. I stopped trying to "pick it up” in the leaf, like others, and even raking with a hammer does not work - it is "picked out” with a hammer, and then with a spoked wheel. The board looks good but takes 1/3 longer than other rods because of the slag. Also, I usually use other 7018 1/8" bars (I use an AC machine) of around 120 amps, but these hold 120 amps very poorly. so I have to run them at 135. This project is not critical, otherwise I would stop using them.
