I bought this cutlery set for my children. They work better than traditional kids forks/spoons as they grip and hold food better. They are durable but not too heavy for little hands. They look like mini versions of adult cutlery, making the kids feel more like adults. In addition, they are perfect as a starter in any festive setting. A win-win option for the whole family. I don't use a dishwasher so I can't comment on the effect on these items, but they wash easily by hand. I definitely recommend it.
