Review on 🔧 Metabo WEF9 125 Angle Grinder: Your Versatile 2 Inch to 5 Inch Grinding Solution by Flavio Iyer

This is a heavy duty German made 5 inch grinder for hard to reach areas and fillet weld grinding. I have two issues that cause me to give it four stars instead of five. The slide switch sometimes does not turn the grinder on. At first I thought the switch was faulty, but now I see that the switch handles multiple safety conditions. One for general overheating. I'm sure it's not my problem. The other is to not restart after a power failure if the switch is left on. That wasn't my situation. Another security feature I didn't quite understand. So if the mill is left alone for a while after refusing to start, then it appears to start. I'm wondering if this safety switch has been slightly reworked. I tried to order replacement grinding wheels for fillets. It came with Metabo Flexiamant 626462 5" disc. I couldn't find this wheel online and a call to Metabo only gave me advice to try Grainger or Fastenal. Neither location had this wheel, and none of the locations had one 5" fillet weld wheel. I found a 4 1/2" fillet weld wheel at Lehigh Valley Abrasives for about $5. This is the site I buy all my abrasives from and their prices and quality are great.
