I bought these for Hood to Coast; I volunteer at the operator at night and we have to have front and rear strobes on from 6pm to 7am, my operator is in the countryside and there isn't much light so I don't usually have a problem with extras "not" . "Drive Me" Defense. They worked well, almost too well... I had to move the front piece below chest level or the brightness interfered with my vision. I put the other in the clear plastic pocket on the back of the safety vest. When I finally took off my vest at noon, the taillight was still flashing. (I took off the front when it got light and forgot the back hahaha) I would recommend them to anyone who jogs or bikes in traffic in the evening or at night.
