I don't think it's bad, it just wasn't for me.
I didn't really like it but I'm not sure I gave it a chance. I've used it once or twice, it doesn't come with an AC adapter which I knew. but who doesn't have an extra 12 volt outlet, right? At least that's what I thought most of my kegs had the wrong size connector. I know a lot of people love this iron, but it just didn't appeal to me.
