The best defense against canker sores and clumsy horses!

I got a pair of these after trying everything else to protect my horse's injured, inflamed, swollen and split metacarpals. He hits himself with that foot all the time, and the swelling and location of the wound prevented me from wearing flip flops (like I did on a regular outing). I tried an inverted flare boot, but it hit right where the wound had been. They are longer than even very large flared boots and can be "customized" with a double Velcro strap. I use them over boots with no rotation (as a pro's choice). The bell boot allows this boot to be more secure and sit a little higher which I think eliminates the bunching issue that others have complained about (I had no bunching at all). My horse is twisted in it. Also on the back and we had no problems. I'll probably keep using these rather than going back to split boots because they work so well, they're stiff and don't chafe. I'm buying a second pair too!
