We just installed carpet and new flooring in our first home. Knowing that the movers would help us with big things, I didn't want them to have to take off their shoes (which they would). It was easier than I thought to place it and then roll it straight across the carpet. This saved the day because on moving day it was snowing and muddy. NO HOLES afterwards! Just a moment. When I bought it, I didn't read anywhere that it had to be tested for discoloration or damage in an inconspicuous area. It wasn't until we received the product that the instructions asked for it. We didn't have time for that and of course we didn't have any problems with it. We even left it in one place for more than a week and still no problems.
