I don't actually use them for golfing at all. I made my own Battleship Beer Pong game and use it instead of ping pong balls! A little background story. You may have seen the image of people cutting blocks of foam into ship shapes and cutting holes for individual cups. I liked this idea and wanted to take it to the next level. Get a pool, fill it halfway, build your own ships and float them in the pool to increase the difficulty! In any case. The problem with pong balls is that they are fragile and too light for outdoor activities. Most likely, they are strongly influenced by the wind. Table tennis balls weigh 3 grams. That's 7g. Enough of the difference is that it doesn't affect your cast much, but it does add a bit of wind protection. They are also made of styrofoam and cannot be broken by drunk people. They swim (required) and push water out with a squirt. The color is great too. They can be a little heavy for cups that aren't secured with some sort of holder, but I've seen floating beer pong rafts and I think they're perfect for this application as well. Check out the photos to get a glimpse of our first travel game! It was wonderful!
