Adhesion looks good. It's black and not some "off" or solid shade. This thing comes with its own plastic smoothing tool. I cleaned the spot where I wanted to place it, no problem. I casually created a little bubble in it. Quick fix, needle. The problem was that when I tore the sticker off the white backing, it didn't peel off properly, taking the outline of the white backing with it. I had to fight it, a few extra minutes.
