This USB-C/HDMI box is very well made, both ends are covered with metal and the thick fabric covered cable itself makes it durable. The pins on either end also appear to be gold. Both ends are also made of thicker plastic, which makes it possible to bend/kink the cable thousands of times without suffering damage. I also love the red color (very spicy). My device also came with plastic plugs to protect the ends. Although this cable doesn't fit my Samsung smartphone or my wife's LG smartphone, I'm sure it's a compatibility issue.
