A gem for all important applications (isolation of microphone vibrations, optical improvement of the structure). The only really tricky part was getting used to the stretcher. I had to change the tightening of the bolt that the shock absorber was attached to (docking sprockets are not suitable for this). When the bolt didn't sag from the weight, I found that the shock loop had sagged. I had to tighten the shock at the wrong angle and then tilt it back to add extra force to keep the pivot from loosening. I wish the thumbscrew or threading would provide better leverage. It will probably work better with the mic hanging from the mount instead of hanging from it. Would still buy again.
