I should have read the description more carefully. I relied on the photos and the photos did not show the cable. I thought it was a 12V rechargeable vacuum that I can take on camping trips to vacuum the tent floor, but it's a corded car vacuum. Used it in the car and it was ok, couldn't pick up small pebbles on the car. soil, but can absorb sand. We go outside a lot and that's useful in the car. But now I have to buy another one, a cordless one, for my original intention of vacuuming the tent.
