I really like this peeler - sharp, easy-to-clean julienne blade makes thin, not-quite-square cuts, just the right size for slicing burdock and carrots for stir-fry or Campara gobo (easier as always with the right hand) . The paring knife has a slightly short handle - it's ergonomically good for paring in the hand, but not for use on a cutting board. It is in order. The knife snaps into the knife handle for protection and storage. So the handle of the knife is hollow. There is no drain hole at the end of the handle, so washing means water is getting in and out of a very deep, narrow, dark space. Not perfect. I also wish the knife blade covers were the kind you squeeze to remove rather than the kind you pry open on one side. All in all it's not perfect and I might end up blowing a hole. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
