We moved into a house with tile floors that had no finish. The mortar looked rough. We tried to clean it up, but it was a lot more work than we were willing to put into something that was about to get dirty again. We were looking for someone to come and seal it but the cost was prohibitive. That's how I came across this pen. The results are amazing! In the photo you can see that the bottom half was drawn with a pen and the top half wasn't finished yet. My kitchen tile is 13 tiles long and 4 tiles wide. Took me about 4-5 hours total. I started by just spreading it out but found that sticking it on saved me time because the lines were much clearer and I was able to work faster. Clear. (You can still remove it from the tile after it dries, but it takes a little more effort — or a sharp fingernail.) One handle finished the entire kitchen floor! In fact, it's coming! I had no problems with the pen or nib. While using it as intended, press down on the pen until the ink flows freely, this works great. I am very happy with this purchase and the result!
