Seems to be a new addition to a wide range of basic 'me too' toasters that advertise an LCD window showing time remaining in seconds. I love the display - it's a great way to track toasting progress, and you can repeat your favorite settings by accumulating time on the toasting wheel before you press the toaster trigger. But it seems that the timer view only appears when you actually start toasting, so what you're hoping to choose won't be visible until the toasting begins. There are stoppers on the toaster dial, but they are very dark, it is impossible to determine the set time from them. Also, the toast time dial is so polished and faceted that you can't easily see the thin black line setting of the dial. Another minor downside is the LCD, which has a pretty average overall blue background and only slightly darker blue/grey numbers. I'm 6ft 2" tall and when I stand directly in front of the toaster and look down at it the LCD goes blank and I have to bend down to see a clear display. (Maybe it wasn't designed for 6ft 2in operators?) But overall it's a good toaster, with a sleek chrome finish that gave us nice, even toast.
