Doesn't work with exterior decor

I'm pretty sure my class isn't 147 degrees. I bought it to keep an eye on the humidity in my classroom, it usually says HHH. I've had it for a few weeks now and it says random values all the time. Luckily it wasn't expensive, but I wouldn't recommend buying it.
