I agree with the negative reviews about the new "teeth" cut on the front bristles. The old short bristles on the front were MUCH more efficient. They still work well with "toothed" bristles, but the good news is that 5 minutes with scissors is enough to get rid of the "teeth" and trim the front. the stubble is back to the good old short uniform. Maybe not a factory look, but the hair and dust will just come off, just like the old style. This tool catches my long hair before it gets into the vacuum and is much easier to use. This thing picks up dust and hair from the floor while still providing enough suction to pick up the pieces. I've tried rollerless brush heads and they do the job well, but without rollers, the bristles wear out faster. I haven't seen any damage to hardwood floors with these rollers as the design provides excellent suction without having to be pressed firmly to the floor. a replacement so I never have to be without it.
