Great value for money on this item especially if you have ever paid a dealer to repair it. The instructions that come with it are not very good. I went online and watched a video of a guy changing it. I'm not a mechanic, but I was able to do about 85% of my job well. Trying to remove the panel and disconnect the cables is the hardest part. Removing the old one was easy. The only issue I had with replacing the grip was that the screws were too small and didn't hang well. I had to rummage through my own stash and get some fatter ones. You can do everything yourself, but it will be easier if you have an assistant. Mainly to remove and reinstall the door panel. Most importantly, if you are not used to such things WATCH THE VIDEO!
