Exactly what I was looking for!

I love it when you find exactly what you're looking for. I was looking for a just the right size disposable container to carry food to friends who are having inclement weather or if you're cooking something to bring a side for the lunch or dinner you're going to. I have only seen this size in take out specialty restaurants with take out orders. First, the volume is about the same as in a bread pan. In fact, I photographed this aluminum pan next to a traditional bread pan. As you can see from the photo, the aluminum container is slightly wider than the loaf pan but not as deep as the loaf pan. So they should be the same size. This should give you a better idea of how much food can fit inside. The disposable aluminum pots that you usually find in stores are great if you're going to a big party and need a large shipping container, but if you're bringing food to a friend's house, they're just too big! That's exactly the size I've personally been trying to find. The lids that come with the pot are thick and have a reflective coating on one side to keep them warm. long before you worry about getting more. Considering you pay $1 for disposable aluminum containers at the dollar store, they sell very well for less than 0.50 cents each.
