I think I ordered this item by mistake but when they arrived and we saw what they were were and how well made they were, after all it was a lucky mistake. These clippers are great for lettuce etc in their standing height planters. They are NOT for pruning branches or small branches, only for soft succulents. SMALL COMPLAINT: I've had two cars with black interiors, things get lost in the car, you don't see black on black. The blade cover for these knives is BLACK, stick it in or they'll fall out of your pocket into the grass and be fodder for the next cut of grass. When my wife first used knives, she managed to throw the blade cap in the trash along with the grass and weeds - what can I say - genius triumphs. FISKARS could use a little common sense and make the lid out of BRIGHT ORANGE plastic as a secondary color on their instruments. OTHERWISE THE CUTTERS WORK GREAT, but don't use them for heavy work, FISKARS HAS SEVERAL SHEARS FOR HEAVY WORK.
