interferes with wireless signals

Great little device. Durable, attractive and transfers data quickly. Bought it to connect an external hard drive to my Macbook Pro 2019. The problem is that it interferes with wireless signals. From the looks of it, this is the way to go with USB-C adapters. I only found out after the purchase. Many (if not properly isolated) emit radio signals that interfere with your computer's WiFi and Bluetooth and other signals. It happened to me; My computer kept losing the WiFi signal when I plugged it in. The solution is to use your router's 5GHz, as the adapter only interferes with 2.4GHz; but my router doesn't have 5GHz. Another solution I found online is to simply wrap the adapter cable in aluminum foil. This definitely fixed the wifi issue and it doesn't crash anymore. But it still interferes a bit with my wireless mouse (cursor jumps around, element dragging is erratic, etc.); he doesn't do it excessively, but enough to be annoying. So now I have to buy a replacement that doesn't have the wireless interference problem.
