Works great for adding a USB-A connection to my laptop.

I use this to connect my mouse to a USB-C port when using other USB ports. For this application it was good. I also tried connecting a USB stick to my Android phone and it works for that. Physically, I prefer two ports on a short cable over a hard adapter without a cable because there is less stress on the mating USB-C port and the short braided cable is flexible and attaches well to the ports. The plugs are of good quality.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Only available in white

Great cable for connecting an Android phone to the car

This was the perfect cable to connect my Android phone to my 2021 ChevyEquinox and use Android Auto. Connecting to a USB-C port isn't easy to achieve, and the extra length of this cable made the connection that much easier. When I connect my phone via a USB connection, every time I want to play music from the flash drive, I have to swap the USB flash drive for the phone. With this extra connection, I was able to use my phone and flash drive at the same time.

I foolishly bought a new MacBook

I foolishly bought a new MacBook which, like the latest Apple products, seems to be geared more towards business convenience , arrogance and insatiable greed for profit than for the user experience of me, the consumer. I used to be able to connect my camera's memory card, headphones, and external hard drives directly to my computer. All of these things now require dongles of various types or multiports, and because of this lack of convenience I've spent hundreds of dollars more than previous…

Pros
  • There are few competitors
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Love the 90 degree adapter (upgrade, broke after 4 months)

UPDATE: After a few months the adapter has failed. The pins and plastic inside the USB-C connector are pushed back into the connector's body. It does not work anymore. I hope this is an anomaly because I really liked it until the moment of rejection. ---- Rotating the connector 90 degrees really helps relieve tension. Also, the cord won't get in the way of things like coffee cups, phones, and other items on the table. This is even more important on an airplane as the line doesn't get caught…

interferes with wireless signals

Great little device. Durable, attractive and transfers data quickly. Bought it to connect an external hard drive to my Macbook Pro 2019. The problem is that it interferes with wireless signals. From the looks of it, this is the way to go with USB-C adapters. I only found out after the purchase. Many (if not properly isolated) emit radio signals that interfere with your computer's WiFi and Bluetooth and other signals. It happened to me; My computer kept losing the WiFi signal when I plugged it…
