Huge disappointment! I wanted to switch to a durable cutting board that wouldn't chip or get rough like plastic and wooden cutting boards. I thought marble would be a good substitute. I liked these boards as they are easy to clean and don't leave much material on the surface. Although it suffered lacerations within 2 days of use, it doesn't scratch as much as a plastic sheet. But today, out of nowhere, it just broke in half when I put it on the kitchen shelf to use. And it's probably only been 15 days since I've used it. Disclaimer: I handled it very gently with both hands as it is quite heavy. Mostly hand washed and only washed 3 times in the dishwasher.
