I recommend BUYING infrared thermometer
Bought this with certified calibration to compare the accuracy of my other temperature gauges. It's worked great so far and is a lot more versatile than your standard $29 laser. It reads and displays results very quickly and has a handheld probe for surface use. This instrument is well made and fits securely in your hand. While I've searched for the country of origin, I can't pinpoint exactly where it's made, but some Digi-Sense company pages seem to point to Singapore as their headquarters. If like me you are the serious tool buyer who hates cheap junk I would recommend BUYING this one.
