We then bought a large paring knife, tomato knife and sharpener. Everything is fine.They are razor sharp,sharpen perfectly with a fancy little five star sharpener and are cheap.We don't care how they look used.We went with black as the aluminum handle, like some Reviewers said can be small and slippery when wet. We found black to be no problem. Next time we'll buy some knives and cleavers. For those of you looking for wedding favors for young couples, the Rado Complete Set is a good one Beginning If you lose one or ruin one, things like peep or can cutting, throw it out and buy a new one for less than ten bucks For you kitchen snobs, stay Find quality products and then figure out how to keep them sharp without buying a $200 sharpener that does only a marginal job.
