It was purchased to replace the Aerocool Aero-1000 case's stock fans. I don't want to purchase a reobas, but PWM PST technology is very helpful if there is only one SYS FAN connector on the motherboard, as there is with mys. Unfortunately, the fans are still noisy at high speeds. This is particularly obvious if there is a hole in the roof of the case and there are more than two fans. But the speed limiter is awesome! Simply select the Silent option, and the noise level returns to normal. I suggest taking into consideration fans in a higher price range if you desire perfect silence.
