Suitable for small knives and beginners
I have had many other whetstones. I regularly sharpen my work and household knives. These stones are good for small knives, 3-8 inches long. Norton 8000 grit waterstone allows me to achieve a mirror-smooth finish on the blade; it's not like this. Not bad for the price.
