This product has been well thought out down to the smallest detail and will be very durable if assembled correctly. Crates stack together to form strong vertical stacks that stay together even when you move them. It's actually quite difficult to take them apart once you've snapped the front and back together. I had no issues with broken or missing parts or doors. They stick a little when you try to open them but this ensures they stay closed. My only issue is that the horizontal dimension is closer to 9.25 than 9.1 considering the little notches on the sides, so it was very tight in my space, but I got it to work. More than one pair of shoes can be put in each box, as long as they are flat shoes or thin heels. High-heeled shoes over 3 inches had to go sideways. Overall I would definitely recommend. Makes my space very neat and clean.
