I have a roof rack on my Honda Element that I use for extra storage when I'm outdoors. From the moment I installed it, I quickly realized that there was a problem accessing things on the other side of the storage driver. I'm 5ft 11" to get at this stuff. I've done a lot of acrobatic stunts. I decided to add step rails. This was a challenge as they are no longer in production. After installation, they helped, but not much. I had to find the best solution. After receiving this threshold, it took me about a minute to attach it to the door. I squeezed and wiggled to make sure it would hold up my 200lb frame. When I was sure it would be like this, I went for it! It's awesome! I got to the back of the box with no problems. Balancing was uneventful as the step remained stable the whole time while attached to the pivot even when I dismounted by shifting my weight a bit! Highly recommended!
