Review on 🔵 Loctite 248 Blue Threadlocker Glue Stick: All-Purpose, Medium-Strength Anaerobic Adhesive, Blue, 9g Stick (Part Number: 37643-506166) by Mark Howard

This threadlocker bar is one of my favorite "tools" in the toolbox. The screw cap bottle is dirty and inconvenient to use. The stick is light and comfortable. Simply ride over the threads of the screw prior to installation - the threadlocking bar will stay in place and not harden until the screw is seated. I've found that liquid screw lock crumbles when removed and needs to be replaced entirely every time you touch the screw. The threaded rod lock stays in place and is still partially effective after the lock is picked. For non-critical spots or small screws that require little protection, it is often possible to reinstall the screw without reapplying threadlocker and still achieve some protection. Overall, the thread lock also offers good protection against corrosion.
