The aerator adapter for this very nice jug is made in such a way that an internal thread is installed at the end of the spout. I haven't seen a female spout on a kitchen faucet in thirty years. There is a 90% chance that you will need a 55/64 x 27 to 15/16 x 24 female adapter to install the Clear2o filter jug. It seems that these socket to socket adapter rings are hard to come by. I've tried all the usual dealers with no joy. Enter the number "LASCO 09-1607” in the Revain search box to find a magic ring, order it with a jug and save time and nerves. I can't think of any faucet and sink combination that this pitcher could be used with without the "Quick Connect Hose Extension". This advertising on the parts adds a lot to the price of the product, but I think the Clear2o filter glass is worth the extra money. Enjoy pure water!
