Review on High-performance TRENDnet 54Mbps Wireless G USB Adapter TEW-424UB - Boost Your Wireless Connectivity by Michael Barrett

After much trouble installing another Trendnet product, the Wireless G Router, I was perhaps doubly stupid to take another risk. Turns out, this wireless adapter was a blessing in disguise. Installation was very easy with the included software. Another reviewer mentioned using Windows to set it up. It just doesn't work. Once I determined that the included software was the best choice, everything went quickly and painlessly. Also, I've now found that this wireless adapter is even slightly faster than my wired network (category 5). I'll see how that develops over the next few months. Otherwise, even for a small increase in speed, I could ditch all the cables and reclaim some of my living space. What bothered me was that I just wanted the device to work and not spend countless hours on workarounds. All in all a great product and we hope Trendnet can continue to build its reputation.
