I was surprised at how well it stuck to my dashboard. My dashboard is all beveled and curved, especially the small spot where I was hoping to place it. I was looking for a mount that I could just stick anywhere due to the awkward spot, but I could only find the type on the suction cup. I expected to have to send it back after trying it because it didn't stick to the curved spot. I was wrong! The suction cup is a very sticky rubber so it basically stuck before I sucked on it. It's as solid as can be and I couldn't be happier. It actually came with a 3m sticky pad so I could stick it on if I wanted to, but it's not necessary. I love the glossy finish and how easy it is to turn the phone on and off. Very satisfied
