Review on Neutralize Brassy Tones with Clairol Professional Shimmer Lights Shampoo: Get Refreshing Blonde Hair Results! by Christina Love

This is the second brand of purple shampoo I've tried. I chose Clairol because I had conditioner from the same manufacturer. The Clairol shampoo turned out to be the same as the others I've used. It was very dark purple, thick, and had a "pearlescent" luster to it. Also a pleasant smell. The conditioner is like nothing I have ever seen or used before. The purple Clairol conditioner was a dark purple but it was very runny and I had a hard time getting it on my hair. The shampoo was thicker than the conditioner. I'd say the conditioner was more of an extra 'solution' to help mitigate the yellowing. After the last rinse the hair was very dry. The texture of my hair also changed after using it and I definitely had "bad hair" the day after. Due to extreme dryness, there were difficulties with styling. Finally the bottles were sealed, but the shampoo bottle was only half full. There was a little more in the detergent bottle, but it wasn't full either. Someone from the quality control department should be responsible for this. They should never have been sent. To sum up, the shampoo was every bit as good as other brands I've used and did its job well, the so called conditioner was poor and drying and the partially filled bottles are beyond words. .
