The concept is great, but the flaws are huge. First, the beads *come* into your hair and twist around the strands, defeating the purpose of not pulling your hair like a traditional pony. You can solve this problem by cutting off the beads you paid for. Second, after some use, the pony will stretch and the locking mechanism will no longer press tight, preventing slippage. So they slip and have to be pulled up like traditional ponies. This can be solved with a high quality metal lock. So basically you're paying an insane price for two totally traditional ponies that slip and get tangled in a thread. Just an incredibly bad execution of a good idea.
