Review on ๐Ÿšฐ Efficient Water Centerset Bathroom Faucet - Pfister LF042JDKK by Marc Stewart

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pfister Jaida Single Lever Mixer

I used to buy a similar faucet at my local hardware store and loved the up and down spout design. I decided to buy a couple of these faucets for their looks and drain design. They look very nice, but here are a few things I did NOT like. The lines from the faucet come with an adapter that clamps and locks to connect to regular braided hose. You will need two wrenches in the tight spot to start threading, then hold the lines until final tightening as the adapter design clamps rotate very easily. They're hard to come by, let alone keep them from spinning just to pull the cords through from the start. Second, on the negative side, they don't have a tool to tighten the long thin nut on the clamp that holds the faucet to the bottom of the faucet. Good luck finding an adjustable wrench. I ended up using a 1/4" drive with a long extension and an 11mm deep socket. Other faucet manufacturers (DELTA) give you a long plastic tool with small wings so you don't over tighten as that can be bad too. A total of 4 stars for the look and design of the drain plug, otherwise the assembly is not exactly easy. Just a word of warning for those doing it themselves. Overall I would use them again now that I know what to use to make installation easier.
