Works great - after two days without playing all problems are gone. The hard drive works well, the installation was easy, the upgrade too. About a week ago my PS4 started working horribly. It crashed, applications randomly closed, gameplay and menu movements slowed down, there were sound lags. I've tried everything PS support recommended: rebuilt database, updated software. I even initialized my PS4 a few times (luckily all the games I play are server based so nothing is lost). It got to the point where PS support offered to send it in for repairs or buy a new one for a paltry sum of money. , or wait for PS5 (which I can never get). I'm glad I took the time to consult Reddit and social media - not ONCE has PS support offered to replace the hard drive. It's easy to replace (it took less than 3 minutes)!
